I am a senior anaesthetic resident doctor, chair of the South West Anaesthetic Trainee Research Network and hold an honorary research fellow position at the 天美传媒官方网站 as a member of the Perioperative and Intensive Care Research group.

I have recently been the chief invesitgator of the Plymfit Study, a National Institute of Academic Anaesthesia funded feasibility study to investigate wrist-worn smartwatch use in perioperative care.

I currently hold a 3-year NIHR Southampton BRC funded Masters fellowship in data science for health and social care.听

听

My particular areas of research interest include integrating wearable technology听into perioperative care, prehabilitation and cardiopulmonary exercise testing. I have a particular interest in utilising large datasets to understand the perioperative population and improve methods of risk prediction.听听
