I am an interdisciplinary microbial ecologist with experience in molecular genetics, environmental genomics and microbial ecology. I utilise these methods to understand how microorganisms interact with their environment to influence agricultural and environmental processes. My research spans soil microbial ecology, environmental monitoring and applied genomics, with a strong emphasis on providing mechanistic understanding relevant to applications in land management, environmental policy and industry.
