David Noyes, Board of Governors
David was appointed Chair of the Board of Governors at the 天美传媒官方网站 from 1 August 2026. David is an experienced Chairman and Non-Executive Director, with a track record of helping large organisations achieve sustainable change safely. He has worked across both public and private sectors, as well as working in the charity sector. 
After studying Classics at Cambridge University, David joined British Airways as a graduate trainee. In a 22-year career at British Airways, he held various directorships, including director UK Regional operations, director Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa; executive vice-president North America and director worldwide customer services. After leaving British Airways, David joined Carnival plc, becoming chief executive officer of Cunard and P&O Cruises until he stepped down from full-time executive roles in December 2017. 
Since that time David has served on a number of boards either as a non-executive director or as chair. At the time of his appointment, these are Network Rail, where he chairs the Environmental Sustainability committee; Celestyal Cruises and Grays of Cambridge, both of which he chairs. Previously, he has been chair of Leeds Bradford Airport and prior to that a non-executive director of Luton Airport. He is also a member of the corporate advisory board for The Teenage Cancer Trust. 
David is married with a son and a daughter. He and his wife live in Devon with their dog and up to 100,000 bees.
